Here’s a little more about me:

A Born Educator

I’ve been an educator for over fifteen years! I worked as a classroom teacher in both public and private school settings, and provided individualized support and instruction as a private tutor (my first business!) for over a decade. I also worked in local government for four years as a bilingual trainer to new employees. Now, I am an online language coach through my own business, Nikki Bannister Language Coaching, where I can focus on helping adult students CRUSH their goals in a second language with my ever-creative, always effective, natural approach!

A Second (Third, Fourth, etc.) Language Leaner

I’m a second-language learner myself! I started traveling to Central America in high school and have continued to journey throughout Latin America (and the world) as much as possible ever since. I also love to SCUBA dive with my husband, and we get to visit some beautiful tropical destinations, several in the Caribbean! I earned my TESOL Certification in Quito, Ecuador, and studied Spanish Language and Culture at the University of Belgrano in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

But what’s most important is that I learned my second language as an adult, too, and I learned it the hard way. I understand the struggle. That’s why I created my stress-free, just RESULTS comprehensive language programs.

A Genuine Believer

I believe that language is at the heart of our human connection, and that the more we can connect with others, the more whole we each become.

Your language learning should ALWAYS be engaging, personally meaningful, and stress-free. While all my courses are original, I use a ton of methods that fall under the category of “comprehensible input” - basically, it’s all about making sure you can learn by getting to use, enjoy, and understand your second language.

I’m full of energy, authenticity, and a true love of people and languages.
